Bemi Cognita Tab 6 is a light and handy solution for reading books and listening to audiobooks for people who value simple operation without giving up the advanced functions of a book reader!
At the heart of the Cognity Tab 6 is a processor with 4 cores (Quad-core) Cortex-A35 with 1GB RAM.
The reader has a 6” eink screen with Carta technology with a built-in touch panel and smart LED backlight with color adjustment. It impresses with its practicality, ease of touch operation, lightness and versatility.
The 32GB internal memory will hold a ton of books - forget about weighing down your suitcases with them.
If you need more space, the Cognita Tab 6 also has a microSD card reader that supports cards up to 256GB .
The built-in Wi-Fi module facilitates Internet connection and allows file transfer without using a cable.
The Bluetooth module is the perfect partner if we want to listen to audiobooks or music .
Thanks to the open Android 8.1 system, you can load other applications for reading books , listening to audiobooks or news channels.

Screen
Thanks to the screen with the latest E-Ink Carta technology , reading is a complete pleasure. The new screen has better contrast and a whiter background. Thanks to the improved refresh, you can read more pages without losing quality without the "screen blinking" effect.
The eink screen with a 16-level grayscale, imitates the effect of traditional printing on paper. Resolutions of 1024x758, 212 ppi provide super comfortable reading without eye fatigue. The text is clear and easy to read.
Touch panel with anti-reflective coating
The Cognity Tab 6 touch panel is covered with a special anti-reflective coating , thanks to which you can read books even in full sunlight. The touch screen provides intuitive, easy operation of the device.
Screen backlight
Bemi Cognita Tab 6 has a built-in smart LED backlight that allows not only the brightness but also the color to be adjusted .
The reader has a set of cold and warm light (blue and yellow) LEDs .
Depending on your preferences, you can "mix" the colors to create your own composition.
Additionally, the reader has default settings for reading during the day, in the evening, and in bed at night.

Book formats
Cognita Tab 6 supports most available e-book formats such as: PDF (Reflow), epub, MOBI (mobipocket), FB2, FB2.ZIP, AZW , AZW3, CHM, PRC , DOC, DOCX, TXT , HTM, HTML, RTF .
Additionally, it displays graphic files in the following formats: JPG, BMP, PNG and audio files: mp3 , OGG , FLAC, WAV , AAC .
PDF Reflow
Cognita Tab 6 supports a very useful Reflow function for PDF files. Reflow is a way of breaking up the content of a PDF file so that it is read as text, just like in an epub or fb2 file. The text automatically adjusts to the size of the page, making reading pleasant and comfortable. The text can also be enlarged, which is impossible when reading the original PDF file.
TTS – Text to Speech
TTS – English: "text to speech" – is a speech synthesizer or a function that allows you to convert written text into sound. Thanks to this function, the Cognita Tab 6 allows you to change the book you are reading into an audiobook.
This feature is especially useful for people who enjoy listening to audiobooks, want to deepen their knowledge, language skills, or want to multitask while enjoying their books.
Cognita Tab 6 supports text-to-speech in 10 languages: Polish, English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
Dictionary/Translator
Cognita Tab 6 has built-in dictionary functions (stardict format) and a translator with many languages to choose from. The translator supports translation of single words as well as entire paragraphs or pages.
The device also allows you to look up a word in Wikipedia.
Thanks to the built-in Glossary, we can always go back to our translations to check them again.
Book library
Cognita Tab6 allows you to display your library as tiles with book covers or a list of files, both in internal memory and on a memory card if it is inserted in the reader.
In addition to the name of the book/file, we can view the file format (list) and the % of the book read.
You can view your library by categories: All books, Recently read, Recently added, Read, and Unread.
Additionally, you can sort your library, perform batch actions, create a new folder, search for a book, or refresh your library directly from the home screen.
Functions while reading
Cognita Tab 6 has an extensive list of available functions and settings when reading books as in the advanced e-readers on the market.
Features available include:
Dictionary, Translator, Wikipedia, Glossary, TTS, Background change mode, Refresh mode, Reading time reminder, Progress format.
The following settings are available:
Selecting words, selected text, Add bookmark, About book, Bookmark list, Table of contents, Go to page, Search, zoom, contrast, Reflow, Font size, Font type, Line spacing, Margins, Rotate screen, Auto page turn.
Note: Cognita Tab 6 will adjust the available features depending on the book format. Not every feature is available for every file format.
Footnotes
Cognita Tab 6 conveniently supports the footnotes function. If a book has footnotes, you can go to the footnote text with one touch.
Battery life
Bemi Cognita Tab 6 has a built-in 1900mAh battery. When fully charged, the device can work for up to 4 weeks*.
*Under the following conditions: half an hour of reading per day, 30 seconds average page turn time, backlight set to the lowest level, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned off, and the shortest sleep and auto-off times set.
